You can ask if someone does not mind being a designated driver.  Or, encourage guests to Uber to the party so there is less chance of them driving, and it also makes parking easier for others. You should also serve responsibly, or simply just limit the number of guests you invite. When you keep your party safe, you keep it memorable.

    What to do with the Kids?

If you are hosting an adult-only New Years’ bash, try to find a responsible parent to host a sleep-over for your kid(s). Return the favor when they need a sitter. If your kids have to stay at the house, let them have their own little party! Offer sleeping bags, tents, and games.
