About Wallauer

Wallauer came into existence nearly a century ago, when Clarence Wallauer decided to give up his job as a paint salesman and start his own paint store. His son-in-law, Bob Duncan Sr., co-founder and his grandson, Bob Duncan Jr., succeeded him in the business. Bob Jr. started at Wallauer in the 50’s, taking over the reins of ownership in 1982. He is now semi-retired and has passed on the day-to-day responsibilities of running the business to his two daughters.  The owners believe in “Good old-fashioned family values, a team approach and integrity setting them apart from the big box stores. The company is committed to quality products, quality service and price points that are good for everyone.

This fourth-generation family business is headquartered in White Plains, New York, and is more than a retailer of paint, hardware and design products. It’s a distributer of the latest and greatest home decorating inspiration, advice and service. It’s a place that shows comfort and confidence and a sense of belonging. It’s a destination and resource for product knowledge and exceptional service that painters and homeowners in Westchester County and surrounding environs cannot do without.
