Bonnie Feifer brings not only her sharp knowledge of fabrics and colors, but also her wealth of experience to our design team at Wallauer’s Paint & Design Centers. She has studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology, and after graduating, has worked for over ten years as a fashion design in New York City before coming to Wallauer’s. During that time, Bonnie has accumulated an extensive knowledge of popular color palettes and materials, having been employed by design-focused companies that included Timberland, Nautica and Tommy Hilfiger.

John is certified in architectural drafting and design, which demonstrates the organizational skills that John brings to Wallauer Paint & Design Centers. He has also studied interior design at Fairfield University and also worked in furniture sales for several years, developing a strong sense of color, style and space. His combination of experience and education enables John to run the Port Chester department effectively, so that each client has an enjoyable, fulfilling experience at Wallauer's.

Wendy Hughes’ focus lies squarely on her client’s needs, from budget to style. With plenty of design experience, Wendy pinpoints a client’s desires, and then finds well-suited products and styles, be it color, fabric or window treatment. With previous design experience in retail furniture sales, Wendy has developed her knowledge of design, staying rooted in a strong sense of space and style that started at furniture sales and design.

Peggy Labate has worked at Wallauer's Paint & Design Centers for over 18 years, and has an insatiable passion for design. Peggy is a certified interior designer, having studied at the New York School of Interior Design and at Westchester Community College, and has professionally worked as a draftsman. In her personal time, Peggy fosters her strong sense of color combinations, by making oil and watercolor paintings, and uses this experience to create dazzling combinations for all of her clients. She is tireless in her pursuit for the perfect window treatment, the perfect wallpaper design and the perfect color combination.

Chris Marynowski, like all of our designers at Wallauer’s, has a broad knowledge of colors, wallpapers and window treatments, in addition to a background in paint products, working seamlessly between the two departments. Chris' versatility allows her to help clients with wallpaper and fabrics, as well as paint products, before her clients even head over to that department. As such, Chris functions as a one-stop designer, making all of her client’s concerns simple and understandable, whether they’re interested in the perfect style of wallpaper or the perfect paint product, tinted to the perfect color.

Laura Nally has plenty of experience working with colors, fabrics and window treatments, being not only a ten-year employee of Wallauer’s Paint & Design Centers but also the design department manager in Bedford Hills. In her personal life, Laura has spent years developing her taste in drapery, sewing and working with fabrics since childhood. She pays great attention to every client, as Laura strives for a high level of customer satisfaction, and hopes that she can help clients reach possibilities that they had never dreamed of previously.

Jane Kern has studied interior design at the New York School of Interior Design. Following her education, Jane has spent twenty years working in commercial architecture in Manhattan. Her work experience enables Jane to confidently manage all her clients projects, having worked on commercial projects that have reached one million sq ft. Now, as a member of the Wallauer’s Paint & Design Centers, Jane brings her enthusiasm and detail-oriented mind to our design staff.

Barbara Held has studied at New York School of Interior Design, and has worked for Motif Designs by Lynn Petersen early on in her career. She has owned an interior design business for twenty-five years that specializes in residential and commercial furniture, carpeting, flooring, wall coverings and fabrics. One of her proudest successes has been working for a residence of the British Consulate. At Wallauer’s Paint & Design Centers, Barbara is a design consultant and a color specialist.

Rose Joyce has received a degree in knitware design from the Fashion Institute of Technology. Her education not only strengthened Rose’s design sense, but has also made Rose beyond capable working with fabrics. As such, Rose has excelled working at sportsware companies in New York City early on in her career, as well as successfully managing her own design company, Designs by Rose, in Larchmont. She has a loyal clientele at Wallauer’s Paint & Design Centers that trust Rose’s design sense and value her suggestions.

an interior designer and the customer care manager at Wallauer’s Paint & Design Centers. Design has always played a major role in Dorothy’s life, being one of her interests. She has experience working in architecture, assisting her brother, an architect, on various projects. She also has previous retail design experience at Expo in New Rochelle before coming to Wallauer’s. Now, she uses her administrative mind and attention to detail to assist her clients.

Rosalie Litrenta has a wealth of experience working in design, having previously owned her own store, worked as a dressmaker and also worked with window treatments for twenty years. As such, Rosalie always strives to make ideal design choices that optimize the room’s beauty and comfort.

Marie Squillante combines her knowledge of paint, colors and window treatments with a flair for design that makes every project magical. Gina Pate has a design certificate awarded by Pace University and plenty of design experience to complement the degree. Gina has owned a business in design that focused on window treatments, fabric and color coordination where she fabricated her own window treatments. This experience made Gina confident and capable in choosing the right fabric for any style in colors that promote harmony and comfort. Gina absolutely loves decorating rooms, whether that involves choosing colors, selecting window treatments or coordinating both, bringing passion to Wallauer’s Paint & Design Center every day.

Barbara Pena has over thirty years experience selling window treatments to both residential and commercial clientele and is a Walluer’s Paint & Design Center employee for over ten years. She also has experience working on large commercial projects that required Barbara’s expertise on wall coverings and window treatments.
